Fun fun fun!

We have been having so much fun playing outside lately!! But because of this very awesome Utah weather we have been stuck inside A LOT! This is how we entertain ourselves...


We cuddle inside and watch movies. And by movies I mean Toy Story 3 because that's all Ty ever asks for. :)





We wear our sunglasses inside since we can't go out. Ty loves his and never wants to take them off.





I tried to get a picture of how his hair sticks up when he pushes his glasses onto his head and this is his face. I love it!!





We got Ty a basketball hoop but he just plays with it in his room for now.





Well we might not be able to play outside like Ty wants, but at least we can be entertained for now! Come on summer!!!

Week 3!!

So I'm a little behind this week but that's only because we moved and have been unpacking and without internet. But we did have family night on Monday and this is how it went.


We started by having a lesson and showing Ty some pictures. It was really good because Ty kept pointing to the things we were talking about. Then it turned into taking pictures of funny faces Ty was doing and me and Josh trying to imitate them. You can decide the winner. haha

After we did family night and tried to copy Ty's faces Josh tried to wrestle with Ty. Ty didn't like it very much at first but then he started laughing!

Then he beat Josh!! pinned!

Week 2!!

This week for family night we learned about Jesus. We watched a movie on the church website about Christ coming down for us and how we need to live like Him. Ty watched the movie because it was little kids singing in the background and then he showed us where our picture of Jesus is. We told him that he needs to be nice like Jesus was. We had such a great Easter weekend so we have learned a lot about Jesus the last few days, but that is always a good thing.

Family Home Evening! (week 1)

It has been way too long since I blogged. So I came up with a little project to ensure at least one post a week. Plus it gives me a great excuse to pull my new camera out all the time! I'm going to be documenting our family home evenings for a while. This will also make sure I have regular family home evenings! :) haha stay tuned for as many FHE ideas we can come up with to entertain Ty.

Here is week one of this experiment...

ok so this is technically before family night but i'm very proud of my homemade fajitas!

Singing a song to start family night. We sang Book of Mormon stories and Ty is making a book like he does in nursery!

Josh gave us an Easter lesson on Christ.

Then we threw the ball back and forth for a while!

This is how Ty throws a ball now. I have no idea why but he always shoves it up to his face and by the time he throws it he is out of breath! So funny!

Treat time!! We made a no bake cake! Instead of cookies we just made one big cake. It was delicious! (I have to give Aimee credit for the cake idea-genius!)

Winter fun!!

We have had so much fun playing around in the snow this year! Here are some of our adventures.

We got Ty's pictures taken a couple days ago. I think he looks so grown up it's so cute!!

Sometimes he's not very happy with what we make him do!! But he even looks cute when he's mad.



His Halloween costume is so awesome! And he loves that elephant so i think this picture is so adorable!

TY IS WALKING!!!

Ty has been walking for a couple days now. He just all the sudden started going and now he's a pro. It's crazy how fast he picked it up!!
